Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Technician Erection -TL to oversee and manage sub-contractor and departmental resources with precision and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal productivity in tower erection and related activities, while consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Tower Assembly & Rigging: Construct steel tower sections at elevated heights using specialized equipment, including manual hoists, winches, and cranes. Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail to ensure structural integrity and stability.
• Structural Alignment: Perform critical tasks such as verifying vertical alignment, executing precise bolting procedures, and ensuring correct torque tightening of tower members in strict accordance with SEC specifications. Maintain alignment and structural integrity throughout the erection process.
• Stringing Support: Provide essential assistance to the stringing crew by facilitating conductor pulling, tensioning, and sagging operations. Utilize pullers and tensioners to ensure accurate installation and alignment of conductors, contributing to the overall functionality of the tower system.
• Safety Compliance: Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety by strictly adhering to SEC HSE requirements. This includes the proper use of full-body harnesses, fall protection equipment, and full compliance with ISMS safety regulations to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Exhibit the ability to read and interpret structural drawings with accuracy and efficiency. This skill is essential for ensuring that all erection activities align with design specifications and project requirements.
• Physical & Medical Fitness: Maintain peak physical condition to perform demanding tasks at significant heights. Candidates must possess a valid medical fitness certificate, confirming their ability to meet the physical demands of the role while ensuring personal safety and the safety of the team.
