About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCNP Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for a three-month contract engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture and Design: Develop and deploy advanced security architectures leveraging Cisco technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint security solutions. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Implementation and Configuration: Execute the deployment of security solutions, including Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, Cisco ISE for identity and access management, and Cisco Umbrella for cloud security. Configure and optimize these systems to meet organizational security policies and performance standards.
• Network Security Operations: Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and network security appliances. Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level technical support for security-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving complex network and security problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security solutions.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational security policies, including ISO 27001, NIST, and local cybersecurity frameworks. Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, incident reports, and compliance activities.
• Collaboration and Training: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to foster a culture of security awareness. Provide guidance and training to junior team members on security best practices and emerging threats.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Must hold a valid CCNP Security certification or equivalent expertise in Cisco security technologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cisco security solutions such as ASA, FTD, ISE, Umbrella, and Firepower. Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), vulnerability scanners, and network security protocols (e.g., IPSec, SSL VPN).
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex security issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions under pressure. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting are essential.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a team environment.
• Adaptability and Time Management: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, contract-based role with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to evolving security threats and technological advancements.
