Survey Engineer (Monitoring)

The Survey Engineer (Monitoring) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and integrity of project assets, adjacent structures, and infrastructure during construction and operation phases. This is achieved through precision surveying and structural monitoring activities.

• Perform precise survey and deformation monitoring for tunnels, stations, viaducts, depots, and associated infrastructure.
• Establish, verify, and maintain primary and secondary survey control networks.
• Conduct monitoring surveys for settlement, displacement, convergence, tilt, and structural movement.
• Verify installation and positioning of monitoring instruments and survey targets.
• Operate and maintain monitoring equipment, ensuring calibration and functionality.
• Process, validate, and analyze survey and monitoring data, identifying abnormal movements and escalating concerns.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports, and present results through graphs, charts, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with construction, tunneling, geotechnical, and engineering teams, supporting site inspections and investigations.
• Comply with project QA/QC standards, HSE requirements, and contractual specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in surveying and monitoring for infrastructure projects, with experience in metro, railway, tunneling, or large civil engineering projects.
• Strong technical skills in geodetic surveying, control network establishment, precision levelling, deformation, settlement, tunnel, and structural monitoring.
• Proficiency in Leica GeoMoS, Leica Infinity, Trimble Business Center, Trimble 4D Control, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
