Accounts Payable Accountant

Join Zahrat Al-Rawdah Pharmacies Co., a leading Saudi retailer with over 200 pharmacy locations, serving around 20,000 customers daily. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to manage and control our suppliers' reconciliation and payments.

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and maintaining vendor files.
• Filing all Accounts Payable related documentation and backup.
• Conducting monthly reconciliation of suppliers' accounts.
• Preparing suppliers' payments according to contract terms.
• Communicating with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Recording, controlling, and reporting on monthly suppliers' discounts and rebates.
• Handling VAT filing and reporting.
• Collaborating with the accounting team on analyses and process improvement projects.
• Preparing and sharing Annual internal & external audit requirements.
• Participating in ad-hoc projects and special tasks as assigned.

Qualified candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, purchase to inventory cycle, suppliers' reconciliation, and VAT tax filing.
• Prior experience working in the MENA/KSA region.
• Previous experience or knowledge in the pharmaceutical retail industry is preferred.
