Position Overview

This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the constructability of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and collaboration. Drive the development and implementation of constructability strategies that align with project objectives and industry best practices.
- Project Oversight: Lead the constructability review process for rail infrastructure projects, identifying potential challenges, risks, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and adherence to project requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of rail systems, including track design, signaling, electrification, and civil works, to develop practical and cost-effective constructability solutions. Evaluate design alternatives, materials, and construction methodologies to enhance project feasibility and sustainability.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with constructability, including logistical, environmental, and regulatory challenges. Implement robust risk management frameworks to minimize disruptions and ensure project resilience.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between Parsons and external stakeholders, including government agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers. Facilitate transparent communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all parties are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of constructability initiatives. Regularly report progress to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital twins, and modular construction, to enhance constructability and project outcomes. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in rail infrastructure construction, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role. Demonstrated expertise in constructability analysis, project delivery, and stakeholder management is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in rail system design, construction methodologies, and industry standards. Familiarity with project management software, BIM tools, and constructability analysis software is required. Knowledge of local and international rail regulations is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or rail-specific disciplines are a plus.
