Position Overview
As an HR Partner, KSA based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will serve as a strategic HR advisor to the Saudi Arabia business, collaborating closely with the HR Lead to execute core people priorities. This role is designed for an experienced HR professional who possesses deep knowledge of Saudi labor practices, exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix-structured environment. You will act as a trusted ally to the HR Lead, ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives and HR strategies while fostering a culture of engagement, compliance, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Support and Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate with the HR Lead to deliver the people agenda for Saudi Arabia, ensuring full alignment with business priorities and HR best practices.
- Cultivate strong, productive relationships with business leaders, managers, employees, and cross-functional HR partners to drive cohesive people strategies.
- Provide pragmatic HR guidance to managers and employees on routine people matters, escalating complex or sensitive cases to the HR Lead as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of HR updates, performance dashboards, people insights, and follow-up actions to support data-driven decision-making.
HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle Management
- Facilitate critical employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job transitions, documentation, exits, and data updates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support HR reporting, audit readiness, employee documentation, and data integrity across HR systems and local records.
- Coordinate with payroll, benefits, medical insurance, government relations, and other functions to deliver a seamless and positive employee experience.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies in accordance with Saudi labor law, internal compliance standards, and company values.
- Leverage collaboration with Legal, Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams to resolve HR matters efficiently and effectively.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, documentation discipline, and ethical judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
Local HR Requirements and Compliance
- Monitor and advance Saudization priorities, including workforce data tracking, action plan execution, and compliance reporting.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on Saudi government platforms and employment systems to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of evolving Saudi HR, labor, and compliance regulations, proactively identifying implications and recommending strategic adjustments to the HR Lead.
Talent, Engagement, and Change Management Support
- Contribute to the execution of the talent agenda by supporting talent review preparations, development action tracking, succession planning inputs, and agreed people priorities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to streamline hiring processes and enhance recruitment outcomes.
- Support engagement, culture, and change initiatives by coordinating plans, tracking progress, and assisting managers in communicating and implementing changes effectively.
- Propose innovative solutions to elevate the employee experience and work environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and alignment with company values.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partnering or HR advisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi labor laws, employment regulations, and local HR practices.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proven experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and compliance reporting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
