Senior Quality Engineer (Saudi Only)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all engineering and construction projects, with a primary focus on building, construction, and infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our quality management processes. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Quality Management System (QMS) Adherence: Uphold and enforce company QMS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Audit Leadership and Execution: Plan, conduct, and oversee internal audits—including project-specific, functional, and departmental audits—while ensuring timely follow-up and closure of audit findings. Lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
• Design Control Oversight: Review and approve engineering design packages prior to submission to clients or third parties, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans, conduct measurements and analyses, and provide expert guidance on corrective measures to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and monitor non-conformities, corrective action reports (CARs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring prompt resolution and verification of closure.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform in-depth root cause analyses to identify underlying issues and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to the Quality Manager and Project Manager, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align quality objectives with project deliverables and client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a related field) from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering and/or construction, with at least 5 years dedicated to the building, construction, or infrastructure industry.
• Certifications: Hold a Lead Auditor Certificate for ISO 9001 (latest edition), demonstrating expertise in quality system auditing and compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies, international codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
• Communication and Reporting: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead teams, mentor colleagues, and foster a collaborative work environment that prioritizes quality and continuous improvement.
