Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer - TL will be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensure seamless coordination between various stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion. Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality by conducting inspections, audits, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with quality control teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams. Facilitate clear and consistent communication to ensure alignment on project goals, progress, and deliverables.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and compliance records. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders as required.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Encourage professional development and ensure the team is equipped to meet project demands.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) from a recognized institution. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering principles, and industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project). Familiarity with local and international regulatory standards is essential.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
