Project Director (Facility Management)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Director (Facility Management) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of facility management projects, ensuring operational excellence, sustainability, and alignment with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies that enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Align project objectives with the broader goals of the organization to drive long-term success.
• Project Oversight: Lead the end-to-end management of facility management projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Foster strong relationships to facilitate seamless collaboration and address any concerns or challenges proactively.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all facility management activities comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Implement robust risk management frameworks to mitigate potential issues and safeguard organizational assets.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of facility management professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
• Budget and Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource utilization to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality or safety. Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior leadership as required.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Champion sustainable practices and innovative solutions to enhance facility operations, reduce environmental impact, and improve overall performance. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of education, experience, and leadership capabilities. The following qualifications and attributes are essential:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFM, PMP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facility management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or project director role. Proven success in managing large-scale, complex projects in a corporate or industrial setting is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in facility management software, project management tools, and financial modeling. Strong knowledge of local and international regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive organizational change. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure environments.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
