Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• System Design and Engineering: Lead the design, engineering, and oversight of electrical systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, access control, intrusion detection, and automation systems for new projects, upgrades, and system expansions. Ensure seamless integration and functionality across all integrated systems.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain precise electrical drawings, system schematics, technical specifications, and comprehensive documentation to support installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities. Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with project management, operations, commissioning, and facility management teams to align electrical, fire protection, security, and automation systems with project objectives and operational requirements. Facilitate effective communication and coordination to ensure project success.
• Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identify technical issues, and execute troubleshooting procedures to resolve faults in electrical, fire protection, security, and automation systems. Implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems adhere to stringent safety codes, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, health, and environmental protocols to foster a secure and efficient working environment.
• Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering, fire protection technologies, security systems, automation solutions, and industry best practices. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on fire protection, security systems, automation, or industrial/building electrical systems. Prior involvement in system design and implementation is highly desirable.
• Professional Registration: Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or eligible for registration.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, access control, intrusion detection, and automation system principles. Familiarity with PLCs, building automation systems, industrial communication networks, electrical distribution, and control systems is essential.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to perform electrical engineering calculations, including load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Software Competency: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and other relevant tools to support design and documentation tasks.
• Communication and Teamwork: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
