Key Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in the following areas:

Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture through regular feedback, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
• Production Management: Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that targets, schedules, and quality standards are consistently met. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with industry best practices. Promote a zero-incident safety culture across the production floor.
• Process Optimization: Analyze production data, performance metrics, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality control, and inventory, to implement process enhancements, cost-reduction initiatives, and waste management strategies that drive operational efficiency.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics. Present findings to management, highlighting key trends, challenges, and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between production, maintenance, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align production objectives with broader organizational targets.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or technical certification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience: Proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment. Hands-on experience in a factory setting, with a deep understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with production management software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word) is essential. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities to navigate fast-paced and dynamic production environments.
