Red Sea Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Dive Operations to oversee and lead our dive operations team. This pivotal role is based in Riyadh and will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and excellence of all underwater activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of leadership experience in dive operations, coupled with a deep understanding of marine safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager - Dive Operations will be responsible for a broad range of strategic and operational duties, including:

• Leadership and Team Management: Direct, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of dive professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of all dive operations, ensuring compliance with international safety standards, local regulations, and company policies. This includes managing dive schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessment processes.
• Safety and Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce robust safety protocols, emergency response plans, and environmental protection measures. Regularly audit operations to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks proactively.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term objectives for dive operations, including expansion initiatives, technological advancements, and sustainability goals. Drive innovation to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between dive operations, internal departments, and external partners, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and clients. Ensure transparent communication and foster strong collaborative relationships.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the financial performance of dive operations, including budget preparation, cost control, and resource optimization. Ensure prudent allocation of funds to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Training and Development: Champion a culture of continuous learning by identifying training needs, organizing certification programs, and promoting professional development opportunities for the dive team.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science, Oceanography, Diving Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in dive operations management or marine safety are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in dive operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Proven track record in managing large-scale dive projects, preferably in the marine or offshore industry.
• Certifications: Current certifications as a Dive Master, Dive Supervisor, or equivalent, along with valid commercial diving certifications (e.g., ADCI, DCBC, or HUET). First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Provider certifications are mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in dive planning software, risk assessment tools, and marine safety systems. Strong understanding of underwater equipment, diving physics, and decompression procedures.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions under tight deadlines.
