Position Overview

Join SUPCON’s elite Solution Team as a Technical Solutioning Expert, contributing to an international expert group stationed in key regions such as Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will provide local pre-sales technical support and design integrated industrial solutions tailored to clients across the Middle East. As a trusted representative of SUPCON, you will collaborate closely with regional branches to facilitate technical communication with key clients, with a primary focus on automation, industrial AI, Industrial IoT, and related technologies. Your responsibilities will span bridging client demands, aligning business objectives with technical implementation, and delivering scalable solutions that support SUPCON’s long-term strategic vision.

Core Responsibilities

The Technical Solutioning Expert will play a multifaceted role, encompassing the following key responsibilities:

• Demand Research & Analysis:

  Work in tandem with Middle East sales teams to engage with clients, identify operational challenges, and extract precise technical requirements. Conduct technical workshops, site surveys, and feasibility studies to enhance sales operations. Translate client business needs into detailed technical specifications for solution design and proposal development.

• Solution Architecture & Design:

  Develop comprehensive, end-to-end technical solutions leveraging SUPCON’s proprietary product portfolio. This includes designing systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Process Control (APC), and a full suite of industrial software solutions.

• Pre-sales Technical Support & Client Engagement:

  Provide full-cycle technical support in collaboration with sales teams throughout the opportunity development phase. Customize technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings to align with the unique needs of Middle East clients. Assist in drafting proposals and address all technical inquiries and clarifications from clients to ensure seamless project progression.

• Documentation & Deliverable Management:

  Compile and maintain critical deliverables, including system architecture diagrams, design documents, technical proposals, operation manuals, and training materials. Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, professional, and fully compliant with SUPCON’s established solution standards.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Formulate and execute technical sales strategies in partnership with sales teams. Liaise with product development teams to align market demands with product roadmaps and ensure client requirements are integrated into future offerings. Coordinate with project implementation teams to evaluate solution feasibility and proactively mitigate potential implementation risks.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following mandatory qualifications and possess the required skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical/Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, Industrial IoT, or digitalization projects.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong working knowledge of control systems, including DCS, SIS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols and fundamental control engineering theories.
  • Prior experience in deploying IIoT platforms, data acquisition systems, and OT/IT integration, preferably in compliance with ISA-95 standards.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, edge computing, and smart factory deployment is highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional presentation and client communication abilities, with the capacity to distill complex technical concepts into accessible business language.
  • Self-motivated and independent work ethic, coupled with strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across multicultural teams in the Middle East.
  • Fluent English proficiency is essential; fluency in Arabic or Mandarin is a significant advantage.
