Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a specialized focus on the Insurance sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality audit services while contributing to the growth and success of Deloitte Middle East. As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of audit plans while adhering to Deloitte’s methodologies and quality standards.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior to mid-level team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the audit team.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, audit committees, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of expectations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices in the insurance sector, ensuring that all audit processes and deliverables comply with local and international standards.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identify control weaknesses, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand audit services, cross-sell solutions, and strengthen Deloitte’s market presence in the insurance sector.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality audit reports that meet Deloitte’s and client expectations, while adhering to professional auditing standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and local regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAMA, CMA) applicable to the insurance sector. Familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
