Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of MENA Office Products, MENA Retail - Consumer Electronics to lead our expanding operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This pivotal role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will report directly to the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in retail management, with a deep understanding of consumer electronics and office product markets across the MENA region. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving growth, optimizing product portfolios, and enhancing customer engagement strategies to meet the evolving demands of the market.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of MENA Office Products, MENA Retail - Consumer Electronics will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to expand market share and revenue growth within the MENA region for office products and consumer electronics. Align business objectives with regional trends and customer preferences.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of retail professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging trends in the MENA office products and consumer electronics sectors. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
• Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the selection, pricing, and positioning of office products and consumer electronics to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure product availability and quality.
• Retail Operations: Optimize retail operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and store performance. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Customer Engagement: Develop and execute customer-centric strategies to build brand loyalty and drive repeat business. Leverage digital and traditional marketing channels to enhance visibility and engagement in the MENA market.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, margins, and cost control. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership and recommend corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including trade laws, consumer protection standards, and corporate governance policies. Mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the MENA region. Prior experience in consumer electronics and office products is essential.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the MENA retail landscape, including consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and foster a culture of excellence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making. Familiarity with retail analytics tools is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional regional language skills are advantageous.
