Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling, based in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Management: Supervise a diverse fleet of drilling rigs, support vehicles, and heavy equipment, ensuring they are maintained, inspected, and operated in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, including conducting regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to mitigate operational hazards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fleet technicians, drivers, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor fleet performance metrics, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
• Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational uptime for critical drilling operations.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee fleet-related expenditures, including fuel, repairs, and replacements, while optimizing resource allocation to align with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
• Technology Integration: Stay abreast of industry advancements in fleet management technologies, such as telematics, GPS tracking, and predictive maintenance tools, and recommend their adoption to improve operational visibility and control.
• Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing fleet operations, including vehicle registration, emissions standards, and driver licensing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant technical certifications and extensive industry experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in fleet management, preferably within the oil and gas, drilling, or heavy equipment sectors. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in fleet management software, maintenance tracking systems, and diagnostic tools. Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems is required.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and drive a culture of safety and operational excellence.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence), CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), or fleet management credentials are highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
