Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and drive the financial strategy of our organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial leadership, a deep understanding of corporate governance, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organization’s long-term objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term financial sustainability initiatives to optimize resource allocation and performance.
• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and period-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage liquidity, cash flow, and treasury activities to maintain financial stability and support operational needs.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Financial Reporting & Executive Insights: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and executive insights to senior leadership and the Board of Directors, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
• Risk Management & Audit Coordination: Lead financial risk management initiatives, coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Policy Development & Governance: Develop, review, and continuously improve finance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to strengthen organizational integrity and compliance.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement to drive financial excellence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives through financial analysis, business insights, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, budgeting, governance, and risk management within a corporate or enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, treasury management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with executive leadership, Boards of Directors, and external auditors to drive financial and operational success.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams toward common goals.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, CFA, or MBA are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
