Key Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Manager will play a central role in shaping the financial trajectory of MDK Engineering Consultancy. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting and Month-End Closing: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Lead the month-end closing process to provide stakeholders with reliable financial insights.
• Budgeting and Cash Flow Management: Develop, monitor, and optimize annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with organizational goals. Manage cash flow projections to ensure liquidity and support operational continuity, particularly in project-driven environments.
• Project Accounting and Financial Analysis: Implement robust project accounting frameworks to track costs, revenues, and profitability across engineering and construction initiatives. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Financial Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate seamless compliance processes.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong emphasis on financial management, reporting, and analysis. Prior experience in engineering, construction, or project-based industries is highly desirable, as it equips you with the domain knowledge to navigate complex project financials.
