Production Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize our industrial production processes. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a dynamic production team during your assigned shift, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to stringent quality standards, and the achievement of production targets. Key Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our production facility. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Production Management: Supervise daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products while meeting or exceeding production targets. Monitor production metrics and KPIs, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, waste reduction, and downtime, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team by providing clear direction, coaching, and constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment that encourages employee engagement and accountability.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to industry-leading food safety and quality standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to mitigate risks and uphold product integrity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between production, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination. Work closely with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and with supply chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance. Utilize data-driven insights to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
• Shift Management: Oversee shift operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and performance tracking. Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and company policies while maintaining a productive and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Production Supervisor in the FMCG or food manufacturing sector, with a strong preference for candidates with expertise in protein processing (e.g., poultry, meat, seafood, or plant-based proteins).
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is essential. Familiarity with production software and data analytics tools will be a significant advantage.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges are critical.
• Work Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in a shift-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a refrigerated production environment. Must be able to maintain focus and performance under pressure.
