Job Title: Pharmacist (صيدلي)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities designed to enhance patient care and operational excellence. Your primary duties will include:

• Accurate Dispensing: Ensuring the precise and timely dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications, adhering strictly to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Patient Counseling: Delivering professional and compassionate pharmaceutical advice to patients, addressing their queries, and providing clear instructions on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining full compliance with the regulations set forth by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), ensuring all pharmacy operations align with national healthcare standards.
• Inventory Management: Overseeing pharmacy inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring medications are stored under optimal conditions. You will also be responsible for tracking expiry dates and coordinating timely replenishments to prevent shortages.
• Customer Service Excellence: Providing exceptional service to customers, addressing their concerns promptly, and fostering a positive and professional pharmacy experience.
• Health Awareness Initiatives: Actively participating in health promotion campaigns, educational workshops, and community outreach programs to raise awareness about pharmaceutical best practices and wellness strategies.
• Operational Standards: Upholding the highest standards of pharmacy operations, including maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary professional credentials:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized institution.
• Professional Licensing: A valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and an active Saudi pharmacy license.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling you to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.
• Retail Experience: Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is highly advantageous, as it demonstrates your familiarity with customer service, inventory management, and operational workflows.
• Immediate Availability: Candidates who can commence employment immediately will be given preference, ensuring a seamless transition into the role.
