Job Overview

We are seeking a highly responsible and vigilant Lifeguard with an internationally recognized rescue certification to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests in the swimming pool area. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional dedicated to maintaining a secure environment, enforcing safety protocols, and responding swiftly to emergencies. This role requires a blend of physical fitness, keen observational skills, and the ability to act decisively under pressure to prevent accidents and provide immediate assistance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

The Lifeguard will be responsible for the following duties:

• Monitoring Pool Activities: Continuously observe swimmers and pool activities to identify potential hazards and prevent accidents before they occur.
• Enforcing Safety Protocols: Ensure all guests comply with pool safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including administering first aid, performing water rescues, and coordinating with emergency services when required.
• Pool Area Inspections: Conduct regular and thorough inspections of the pool area to identify and mitigate any potential risks or hazards.
• Maintaining Cleanliness and Order: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the pool area to ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all guests.
• Guest Assistance: Provide guidance and support to guests regarding pool safety, rules, and proper usage of pool facilities.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Certifications: Possess a valid lifeguard certification, first aid, and CPR training, along with an internationally recognized rescue license.
• Swimming Proficiency: Demonstrate exceptional swimming skills and physical stamina to perform rescues and maintain vigilance in the water.
• Observational Skills: Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain composure and act decisively in high-pressure situations to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Physical Fitness: Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to perform rescues, stand for long hours, and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Technical Knowledge: Be well-versed in water rescue techniques, emergency procedures, and the proper use of rescue equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
