Role Overview

As a Financial Performance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Manager by driving the planning, performance analysis, and reporting functions of the business and manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will encompass applying a financial perspective to production, operational, and business priorities, enabling the consolidation of a comprehensive view of business performance. This role is instrumental in translating performance insights into actionable recommendations for the business leadership team, ensuring that financial implications are seamlessly integrated into strategic planning and operational forecasts.

You will be accountable for assisting the Finance Manager in the efficient management of financial resources, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of all financial accounts and reports in adherence to IFRS (GRM), corporate policies, and legal requirements in KSA and other jurisdictions. The primary focus of this position is business partnering, where you will monitor performance, deliver analytical insights, and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement while maintaining an objective and independent financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and execute financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting strategies for business and manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze production, operational, and business priorities to generate a consolidated view of business performance, translating insights into strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Support the business leadership team by providing financial insights that inform decision-making and integrate financial considerations into strategic plans and operational forecasts.
  • Ensure the efficient management of financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions, while maintaining compliance with IFRS (GRM), corporate policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and compliant financial reports and accounts, ensuring alignment with international and local regulatory standards.
  • Act as a business partner by monitoring performance, conducting variance analysis, and delivering actionable insights to drive performance improvements across the organization.
  • Leverage financial and accounting software applications, with a strong preference for JDE Oracle, to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Manage supplier relationships to optimize cost efficiency and ensure alignment with financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a postgraduate qualification in Finance (such as a Certificate in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting (CMA)) preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in financial operations and management, including at least 5 years in a similar analytical or performance-focused role.
  • Proven expertise in organizational budgeting, forecasting, and management, with a deep understanding of local and international financial regulations, including IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), manufacturing costing, and investment and asset management.
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting software applications, with a strong preference for JDE Oracle.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency.
