Learning & Development Executive - Saudi National

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning & Development Executive – Saudi National to join our esteemed team at The Ritz-Carlton in the breathtaking Ummahat Islands, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with department heads and management to identify and address staffing and training needs, ensuring our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional luxury hospitality. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with organizational goals and elevate the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Training Development: Conduct thorough needs assessments in partnership with managers to identify skill gaps and training requirements. Develop and execute tailored learning strategies that address deficiencies and enhance employee performance.
• Training Material Creation: Design, develop, and produce high-quality training materials, including facilitator and participant workbooks, manuals, brochures, job aids, and posters. Ensure all materials are engaging, accessible, and aligned with company standards.
• Training Delivery & Facilitation: Prepare and conduct stand-up training sessions for groups of employees, ensuring content is delivered effectively and retained. Oversee safety training and orientation programs to maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
• Employee Development Support: Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees. Provide coaching and counseling to foster professional growth and address performance concerns.
• Operational Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and security procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly to ensure a secure work environment.
• Guest & Team Engagement: Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support team objectives. Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
• Administrative & Technical Duties: Utilize computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information. Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, or carrying objects up to 10 pounds as required. Support supervisors in executing additional job duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Certifications: No specific licenses or certifications are required.
