Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Facilitate Engaging Programs: Develop and lead a diverse range of activities, including snorkeling, kayaking, underwater photography, botanical tours, sustainability workshops, and hands-on arts and crafts. Tailor experiences to suit all ages and interests, ensuring each session is both educational and enjoyable.
• Promote Safety and Compliance: Enforce and explain all safety protocols and regulations within recreational facilities. Monitor activities closely, intervening appropriately in emergencies and identifying any situations where guests may not participate safely. Report incidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions promptly to management.
• Cultural and Environmental Stewardship: Share in-depth knowledge of the local heritage, flora, fauna, and cultural traditions, enriching guest experiences with authentic insights. Advocate for sustainable practices and educate guests on responsible tourism.
• Guest Experience Excellence: Deliver warm, personalized service with genuine appreciation for every guest. Anticipate and address their needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities, and ensure all interactions reflect the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work seamlessly with colleagues to maintain positive working relationships. Continuously seek opportunities to improve service quality, introduce innovative methods, and uphold the organization’s commitment to excellence.
• Physical and Operational Readiness: Perform tasks that require mobility on uneven or slippery surfaces, prolonged standing, and the ability to lift or maneuver objects weighing up to 75 lbs. Adhere to all company policies, including confidentiality and asset protection, while completing mandatory safety training and certifications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Experience: At least one year of relevant experience in outdoor education, recreation, or hospitality. Supervisory experience is not required but is a plus.
• Certifications: Mandatory certifications include Lifeguarding, Water Safety, CPR, Oxygen Administration, EpiPen Administration, First Aid, and Food Safety. Additional certifications may be required by local or state agencies.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse groups effectively. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for nature and education.
