Medical Manager – Neuroscience

Position Overview

As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, the Medical Manager – Neuroscience will play a pivotal role in advancing our strategic objectives by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive Medical Affairs plans tailored to the Neuroscience therapy area. This position requires a dynamic blend of scientific expertise, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely medical information while fostering meaningful partnerships with medical experts, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. The role demands a proactive approach to evidence generation, clinical research oversight, and the translation of scientific insights into actionable strategies that drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

The Medical Manager – Neuroscience will be responsible for the following key functions:

• Medical Inquiry Management: Respond to complex medical and scientific inquiries with precision, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. Develop and maintain standardized response documents to streamline communication and uphold consistency in messaging.
• Clinical Research Support: Provide expert medical and scientific input into the design, initiation, and oversight of clinical trials and research activities within the Neuroscience therapy area. Contribute to the development of investigator-initiated trials and non-interventional studies to generate real-world evidence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key medical experts, thought leaders, and regulatory stakeholders across the disease journey. Facilitate educational initiatives, scientific discussions, and collaborative projects to enhance understanding and adoption of therapeutic innovations.
• Publication and Data Generation: Support the development of high-impact scientific publications, abstracts, and presentations. Contribute to data generation initiatives that strengthen the evidence base for our products and therapeutic strategies.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Review and approve medical and promotional materials to ensure alignment with global and local compliance requirements, maintaining the highest standards of ethical and regulatory adherence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Medical Affairs and other critical functions, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Market Access, Quality, and Commercial teams. Share actionable medical insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning across the organization.
• Digital and Data Utilization: Leverage digital tools and data analytics to enhance stakeholder engagement, gather actionable insights, and support evidence-based decision-making processes.

Essential Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A degree in Medicine (MD), Pharmacy (PharmD), or a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in Neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
• Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture credible relationships with medical experts, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers in the healthcare and regulatory sectors.
• Scientific Acumen: A deep understanding of clinical research methodologies, evidence generation strategies, and the evolving therapeutic landscape in Neuroscience. Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Digital Proficiency: Confidence in utilizing digital tools and data analytics platforms to support stakeholder engagement, insight gathering, and strategic decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate engaging discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential to effectively engage with regional and global teams.
