Analyst / Associate - Equities Trader

Position Overview

Bank of America is seeking motivated graduates and early-career professionals to join our Equities Trading team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a strong passion for financial markets and trading to work alongside seasoned Equities Traders. The role offers hands-on exposure to global financial markets while developing advanced technical and commercial trading skills within a leading international investment bank. Candidates will be considered at either the Analyst or Associate level, depending on their prior experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with experienced Equities Traders to manage risk and execute trading activities effectively.
• Analyze market trends, economic data, and trading opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of trading strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of equity products and financial markets across the MENA region.
• Work alongside Sales, Research, and other business partners to support and expand client activity.
• Develop strong analytical, technical, and commercial trading skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets and trading.
• Possess fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Meet the regulatory requirement of being a Saudi National, as mandated by the Saudi Exchange and Capital Market Authority (CMA).

While not mandatory, the following skills and attributes are highly desirable:

• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness to identify market opportunities.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support trading decisions.
• Ability to conduct thorough research, analyze data trends, and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex market scenarios.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
