This on-site position is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of hydrogen production processes, safety protocols, and team coordination during assigned shifts. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring all hydrogen production processes, maintenance activities, and safety procedures are executed in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of technicians, engineers, and support staff to achieve production targets, optimize efficiency, and maintain a high-performance work environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines to mitigate risks and promote a zero-incident workplace.
• Process Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Communication and Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for shift-related issues, escalating critical concerns to senior management and providing detailed shift reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training programs for team members to enhance technical skills, safety awareness, and operational knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Emergency Response: Act as the designated authority during emergency situations, coordinating response efforts, and ensuring swift resolution to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a commitment to safety and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemical processing, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in process safety or hydrogen technologies are advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations, supervision, or leadership roles within the energy, chemical, or industrial sectors, with a proven track record in hydrogen production or similar high-tech environments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams under dynamic operational conditions.
• In-depth knowledge of safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment methodologies in industrial settings.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process optimization.
• Proficiency in digital tools and software for monitoring operations, generating reports, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
