Role Overview

Target Engineering, a leading EPC and industrial infrastructure solutions provider with over five decades of industry expertise, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Document Controller to support a major Oil & Gas EPC project in Khafji, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This critical role will focus on the management and control of Quality Control (QC) documentation, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, client requirements, and international quality standards. Key Responsibilities

The Document Controller will serve as the central point of contact for all QA/QC project documentation, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of critical records. Core responsibilities include:

• Document Management & Control: Maintain, control, and manage all QA/QC project documentation in strict accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and ISO 9001 standards. Ensure proper registration, filing, tracking, and retrieval of quality records and engineering documents.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to facilitate seamless document submissions, approvals, and revisions. Act as a liaison to ensure alignment across all project stakeholders.
• Documentation Oversight: Manage inspection reports, test packages, material certificates, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch lists, and turnover dossiers. Monitor document revision status to ensure only current and approved documents are in circulation.
• Logistical & Reporting Functions: Prepare and maintain comprehensive document control logs, transmittals, and status reports to track project documentation progress. Support the compilation of final quality dossiers and project handover documentation for successful project completion.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with project-specific document control procedures, client mandates, and industry regulations. Uphold the highest standards of quality documentation management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of experience as a Document Controller, with at least three years dedicated to QA/QC documentation management in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or large-scale EPC projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of EPC document control processes, QA/QC documentation requirements, and ISO 9001 standards. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems is essential. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, KJO, or other major oil and gas client documentation protocols is highly advantageous.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stakes project environment with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
