Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Supply Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dammam. This full-time, on-site role is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring seamless procurement and distribution of medical supplies. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management, while maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between suppliers and healthcare providers, ensuring that medical facilities receive the right products at the right time to support exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Supplier Management: Lead the procurement process by identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure high-quality medical supplies at competitive prices. Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, ensuring optimal availability of critical medical supplies. Oversee logistics to guarantee timely delivery and distribution to healthcare facilities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to local and international regulatory standards, including healthcare industry guidelines and safety protocols. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and mitigate risks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between suppliers, internal teams, and healthcare providers to understand demand, address concerns, and streamline supply chain operations. Foster collaborative partnerships to enhance service delivery.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytical skills to assess supplier performance, cost trends, and forecast demand. Prepare detailed reports to support decision-making and strategic planning within the supply chain.
• Quality Assurance: Verify the quality and authenticity of medical supplies, ensuring they meet clinical and safety standards before distribution. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain operational integrity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
• Experience: Proven track record in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience within the healthcare or medical supply industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of supply chain and inventory management software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Compliance & Attention to Detail: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in the medical supply industry. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, on-site environment with evolving priorities. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while meeting tight deadlines.
