As a Field Gold Buyer, you will operate at the forefront of our gold procurement process, bridging the gap between miners and our secure vault facilities. Your work will not only drive operational efficiency but also uphold the integrity of our supply chain, ensuring every transaction adheres to the highest standards of fairness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Direct Procurement & Engagement: Conduct daily visits to artisanal mining sites in Kyebi to purchase gold doré from local miners, fostering trust and long-term partnerships with the community.
• Quality & Compliance Assurance: Utilize certified digital scales to verify the weight and purity of gold doré, ensuring all transactions meet industry standards and PMMC (Precious Minerals Marketing Company) compliance protocols.
• Transaction Management: Record all purchases meticulously via our mobile application, whether in cash or through mobile money (MoMo), maintaining accurate and transparent transactional records.
• Secure Logistics: Transport gold doré securely from mining sites to our Tako Gods Vault using an armored vehicle, adhering to strict safety and security protocols.
• Community Relations: Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with miners and local stakeholders, ensuring open communication and mutual respect throughout the procurement process.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must embody integrity, reliability, and a customer-centric mindset. We are looking for candidates who:

• Possess a Strong Ethical Foundation: Demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness, earning the confidence of local miners and communities—a cornerstone of this role.
• Excel in Basic Financial & Administrative Tasks: Have proficiency in basic arithmetic and record-keeping to ensure accurate transaction documentation.
• Meet Mobility Requirements: Hold a valid motorcycle license (company-provided bike and fuel included) to navigate mining areas efficiently and safely.
• Communicate Effectively: Be fluent in both Twi and English to facilitate seamless interactions with miners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Maintain Physical Readiness: Stay in peak condition to perform outdoor duties in often rugged mining environments, where adaptability and stamina are essential.
