Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant and Financial Analyst to join our team in Jeddah on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes within the customs clearance and logistics domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data. Record revenue, costs, and operational expenses in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Cash Flow Monitoring: Track and analyze cash flow patterns to support liquidity management and financial planning. Provide recommendations to improve working capital and reduce financial risks.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals. Monitor performance against budgets and provide actionable insights.
• Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Implement and maintain robust financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks, or similar platforms) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
