Position Overview

Premium Support Facility Management Ltd (PSFM) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize our facility maintenance operations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the seamless functionality, safety, and efficiency of our infrastructure while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance strategies to ensure all facilities and equipment operate at peak performance. This includes preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to execute maintenance tasks efficiently. Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations to foster a high-performance culture.
• Budget & Resource Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures, negotiate contracts with service providers, and optimize spending without compromising quality.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to local, national, and international safety regulations, as well as company policies. Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to mitigate hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to secure timely and high-quality maintenance services. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, HR, and senior management, to align maintenance activities with business objectives.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, service logs, and compliance reports. Prepare and present detailed reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Emergency Response & Troubleshooting: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address critical maintenance issues promptly. Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Technology & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in facility management. Recommend and implement innovative solutions, such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Core Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in maintenance management, preferably within facility management or contracting companies.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing maintenance, fire safety systems, and building automation systems. Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools is highly desirable.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset are essential.
• Organizational & Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is required.
• Safety & Compliance: In-depth understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices. Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Facility Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or related disciplines.
• Experience in managing maintenance teams within large-scale facilities or corporate environments.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards governing facility maintenance and safety.
