Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities. Executing tests in alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting: Documenting and reporting identified issues with precision, including detailed descriptions, severity levels, and potential impact on end-users or business operations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on testing objectives and to facilitate swift resolution of identified issues.
• Automation and Innovation: Leveraging testing tools and methodologies to automate repetitive tasks, enhance efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing framework.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensuring all testing activities adhere to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards to mitigate risks and uphold compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of technical acumen, analytical thinking, and a commitment to excellence. The following qualifications and attributes are essential for success in this role:

• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and testing frameworks is highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
• Communication and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to articulate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-driven environment.
