We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager - Project Logistics to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the specialized logistics sector. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our operations team to assess project feasibility and optimize cost efficiency while developing strategic vendor relationships to enhance operational excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement innovative business development strategies tailored to project logistics and special cargo, with a strong focus on building a robust pipeline of opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for project logistics and special cargo, including break-bulk, air freight charters, and tanker shipments, to capture new market opportunities and expand our client base.
• Client Engagement & Pipeline Management: Identify and pursue new clients within key industries such as energy, infrastructure, heavy engineering, and oil & gas. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of project logistics opportunities to ensure sustained business growth.
• Vendor & Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing, enhance service quality, and drive operational excellence. Establish a vendor pool that supports cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions.
• Project Feasibility & Cost Optimization: Work closely with the operations team to evaluate project feasibility, ensuring that logistics solutions are both practical and cost-efficient. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project execution and profitability.
• Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: Demonstrate expertise in regulatory compliance and permitting processes for specialized shipments, including over-dimensional and heavy lift cargo. Ensure all logistics activities adhere to legal and industry standards.
• End-to-End Project Logistics Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of project logistics, from procurement to site installation, including site mobilization and demobilization, commissioning logistics, staging areas, load-in/load-out sequencing, on-site storage, and reverse logistics for decommissioning. Experience in these areas is highly advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of five years of experience in project logistics, with a strong focus on special cargo such as over-dimensional or heavy lift shipments. Proficiency in selling break-bulk, air freight charters, and tanker services is essential. A deep understanding of regulatory compliance and permitting for specialized shipments is required to ensure seamless operations. While the position is based in Jeddah, Riyadh, or Dammam, flexibility in location may be considered based on business needs.
