Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Platform Management: Oversee the vendor platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date vendor information, compliance with company policies, and efficient onboarding processes. Monitor vendor performance and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Tender Process Coordination: Lead the end-to-end tender process, from initial preparation and documentation to submission and evaluation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure all tender requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
• Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, vendor engagement, and industry trend analysis. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Facilitate clear and consistent communication to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and expectations.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all vendor-related activities and tender processes comply with local and international regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Mitigate risks by conducting thorough due diligence and maintaining accurate records.
• Performance Reporting: Generate and analyze performance reports to assess vendor efficiency, tender success rates, and overall platform effectiveness. Provide actionable insights to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in vendor management, procurement, or tender coordination, preferably within a corporate or government sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with data analysis tools and tender management platforms is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
