Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Presales & Innovation Lead to serve as a senior technology expert, driving the identification, development, and implementation of innovative solutions tailored to customer needs. This pivotal role focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies, bridging the gap between customer expectations and cutting-edge technological advancements. Key Responsibilities

Innovation Strategy and Customer Engagement

You will engage with customer stakeholders to thoroughly understand their business challenges, pain points, and opportunities where innovation and advanced technologies can deliver measurable value. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and promoting innovative solutions leveraging AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies. You will challenge conventional customer requirements by proposing alternative solution approaches that enhance outcomes and drive business transformation within the Saudia ecosystem.

Solution Exploration and Prototyping

Design, develop, and deliver proof of concepts (PoCs) or prototypes to validate the feasibility and impact of innovative solutions. Selecting the appropriate technologies and tools, you will rapidly experiment and iterate on solution concepts, demonstrating prototypes to customer stakeholders and collecting structured feedback. This process includes evaluating scalability, feasibility, and potential business impact to ensure alignment with customer objectives.

Innovation Adoption and Solution Evolution

Support the transition of validated PoCs into scalable, production-ready solutions in collaboration with global technical teams. Ensure that innovation initiatives are fully aligned with customer architecture and strategic direction, contributing to the definition of implementation approaches during the transition from prototype to delivery. Balancing innovation ambition with practical applicability, you will deliver solutions that provide tangible business value.

Technology Watch and Innovation Promotion

Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and digital innovation, presenting new solutions and assessing their applicability within customer contexts. As a source of inspiration, you will facilitate innovation workshops and ideation sessions with stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and forward-thinking problem-solving.

Collaboration and Ways of Working

Work closely with global technical teams to support innovation activities, collaborating with architects to ensure alignment with overall solution architecture. Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding innovation progress, outcomes, and learnings. Promote agile and experimental ways of working across teams to enhance efficiency and drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A relevant academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in technical roles focused on AI, machine learning, digital solutions, or innovation-driven development.
• Prototyping Expertise: Hands-on experience in building prototypes or proof of concepts in real-world environments.
• Solution Translation: Ability to translate complex business needs into innovative and technically feasible solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional and international environments, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to prototype.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation or travel technology domains is considered an advantage.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
