Finance Manager – Al-Ertifaa Company For Steel & Metals

Al-Ertifaa Company For Steel & Metals, a leading enterprise in the steel and metals industry based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial planning to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability. Conduct regular financial performance reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance policies, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Treasury and Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and investment strategies to maintain financial stability. Monitor working capital, debt levels, and capital expenditures to align with the company’s long-term financial goals.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency: Lead initiatives to streamline financial processes, reduce operational costs, and improve efficiency across departments. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support critical business decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and expansion projects. Evaluate the financial viability of new opportunities and assess their potential impact on the company’s financial health.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team delivers high-quality financial services in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the finance department and other business units, as well as external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the steel, metals, or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in treasury management, cash flow optimization, and financial risk assessment.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Familiarity with advanced Excel and financial modeling tools is essential.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
