Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Warehouse Organization: Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and facilitate quick retrieval of items. Implement systematic labeling and categorization methods to streamline inventory tracking and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Receiving and Dispatching: Coordinate the receipt of goods, verifying quantities, conditions, and documentation against purchase orders. Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety and compliance protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving units, to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of awareness within the warehouse environment.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and field teams to support project timelines and material requirements. Generate and submit regular reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and warehouse performance metrics to management.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical proficiency, practical experience, and personal attributes aligned with the demands of the position. The following qualifications and skills are essential:

• Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous. Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is highly desirable. Proficient in using handheld scanners, inventory tracking tools, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Organizational and Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and operational challenges efficiently.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions typical of warehouse environments.
• Communication and Teamwork: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and management. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
