Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager – Applications (Corporate) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide application projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Develop and implement project strategies that align with Almarai’s corporate goals, ensuring seamless integration of applications across business units. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure clear communication, alignment, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Manage expectations and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Application Development & Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate applications, from requirements gathering and vendor management to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and compliance with corporate policies.
• Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement robust change management processes to minimize disruptions. Monitor project progress using advanced tools and methodologies to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Team Mentorship & Development: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring junior project managers and team members. Encourage professional growth and knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.
• Budget & Resource Optimization: Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize costs without compromising quality. Ensure optimal utilization of internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing corporate application projects. Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food industry is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of enterprise application systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, SCM, HRIS) and familiarity with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP). Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is essential.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to navigate complex challenges.
• Language & Cultural Competency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse corporate environment.
