Key Responsibilities

The Senior Team Manager - System Operation will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our transport and logistics systems. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to optimize transport and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with Almarai’s business objectives and operational excellence goals.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• System Operations Oversight: Monitor and manage transport and logistics systems, ensuring seamless coordination between departments, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in transport and logistics operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role within the FMCG, food, or beverage industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with transport management software and IoT solutions is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a strong focus on mentorship, coaching, and talent development.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess operational challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
