Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor (Saudi National Only)

Position Overview

Accor Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Public Area Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This role is exclusively open to Saudi nationals who possess exceptional leadership skills and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will oversee the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas within our properties, ensuring a pristine environment that aligns with Accor’s brand reputation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company standards.
• Public Area Maintenance: Oversee the daily cleaning, sanitization, and upkeep of all public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and recreational areas, to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and employees.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with cleanliness protocols, safety regulations, and brand-specific standards, addressing any deviations promptly and effectively.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the supply of cleaning materials, equipment, and amenities, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
• Guest Interaction: Address guest inquiries, concerns, or requests related to housekeeping services with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach, fostering a positive guest experience.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols in accordance with local regulations and Accor’s policies, including the implementation of COVID-19 and other health-related measures.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on housekeeping activities, staff performance, and inventory status to senior management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Front Office, Maintenance, and Security, to coordinate efforts and maintain seamless operations across the property.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certification in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems, MS Office Suite, and familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in housekeeping, hospitality management, or related fields are a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in Saudi Arabia and requires flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure round-the-clock coverage of public areas. The role demands physical stamina, as it involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
