Engineer-Care Team

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineer-Care Team member to join our esteemed team at the Ummahat Islands 2-3, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction across all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of preventive maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks to ensure an impeccable environment for our valued guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer-Care Team member, your core duties will include:

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces. This includes flipping and inspecting mattresses and box springs, assembling bed frames, vacuuming behind and under furniture, cleaning carpet and fabric stains, dusting surfaces, arranging artwork, and ensuring all furniture and equipment are present and in optimal working condition.
• Room Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of all guest rooms in accordance with the hotel’s preventive maintenance procedures and standard guidelines. Address minor repairs such as tightening toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• General Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of all room surfaces, including bathtubs, tiled walls, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors. Ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for every guest.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures of the hotel chain. Report any significant maintenance issues, unusual findings, or hazards immediately to the supervisor. Document and report accidents, injuries, or hazardous working conditions, and participate in required safety training and certifications.
• Professional Conduct: Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and complete work uniform, and present a polished and professional appearance at all times. Uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information and protect the company’s assets.
• Guest Interaction: Greet and receive guests according to the chain’s standards, anticipate their needs, and provide exceptional service. Build positive and constructive relationships with colleagues to foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pulling, and kneeling. Independently move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place items weighing up to 23 kilograms. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing items exceeding 23 kilograms. Be prepared to work in standing, sitting, or moving positions for extended periods.
• Additional Duties: Fulfill any other tasks assigned that align with the role’s responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Less than one year of relevant work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• Certifications: None required.
