Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the performance of our transport and logistics systems, ensuring alignment with Almarai’s strategic objectives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve system operations, enhance productivity, and reduce operational costs within the transport and logistics domain.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure that all team members are aligned with organizational goals and equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in transport and logistics operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational improvements in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• In-depth knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in the transport and logistics sector.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
