Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with Almarai’s quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment to conduct accurate and reliable tests, including microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses.
• Document and analyze test results, identifying trends, deviations, and potential areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO, and other relevant quality management systems within the organization.
• Participate in audits, internal inspections, and compliance reviews to maintain certification and regulatory alignment.
• Train and mentor junior team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality-related documentation, including test reports, non-conformance logs, and corrective action plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in quality assurance, food safety, or a related technical role within the food or dairy industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, HACCP, or GMP is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment with occasional overtime as required.
