As the Project Director, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge transport solutions that enhance connectivity, reduce congestion, and promote smart mobility. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Defining and executing transport strategies that align with national and regional mobility goals, ensuring alignment with SYSTRA Arabia’s core values of innovation, sustainability, and client-centric excellence.
• Leading end-to-end project delivery, from conceptualization and planning to execution and stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of transport infrastructure and mobility solutions.
• Collaborating with government agencies, private sector partners, and international stakeholders to foster integrated mobility ecosystems that enhance urban livability and economic growth.
• Driving data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics, modeling tools, and emerging technologies to optimize transport networks and mobility services.
• Mentoring and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within SYSTRA Arabia.
• Ensuring compliance with international best practices, regulatory standards, and sustainability frameworks in all project deliverables.
• Representing SYSTRA Arabia in high-level forums, conferences, and partnerships to position the organization as a leader in transport strategy and integrated mobility.

Qualifications and Experience:

While we value individual contributions, the following technical competencies and experiences are highly preferred:

• A master’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in transport strategy, project management, or integrated mobility, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in developing transport master plans, mobility strategies, and integrated transport solutions for urban and regional contexts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of government and industry.
• Familiarity with international transport standards, such as those from the World Bank, UITP, or ITF, and a commitment to sustainability and smart mobility principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using GIS, transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, TRANSYT, or MATSim), and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including policymakers, engineers, and the public.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly advantageous, given the regional context.
