Fire Alarm Systems Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems to ensure the safety and protection of commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will hold an Electronics Diploma and possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the field. This position offers a competitive monthly salary of SAR 1,600 and is open to Indian nationals, with a preference for male applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, alarms, and notification appliances, in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to verify functionality, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to local fire codes.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure systems operate efficiently. Diagnose faults and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all installations and modifications comply with national and international fire safety standards, including NFPA 72 and local regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, repairs, and installations. Prepare detailed reports for clients and regulatory bodies as required.
• Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service to clients, addressing inquiries and offering guidance on fire safety best practices.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to service calls, including after-hours emergencies, to resolve critical system failures and restore safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electronics or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of three years of practical experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Valid certification in fire alarm systems (e.g., NICET, FSCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and fire detection technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field service assignments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
