Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Satellite Implementation Special Projects Section Manager to lead our specialized projects within the satellite implementation domain. Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists in the implementation of satellite projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for satellite project execution, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and milestone tracking to achieve organizational goals.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and expertise in satellite system integration, testing, and deployment, ensuring all projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and clients, to facilitate seamless project execution and foster long-term partnerships.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of satellite systems, minimizing operational risks and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for technological advancements, process optimization, and cost efficiencies within the satellite implementation domain.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to local and international regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or advanced certification in project management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in satellite systems, project management, or a closely related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of satellite communication systems, ground segment technologies, and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and inspire high performance through effective communication and mentorship.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Certifications in satellite communications or related technologies are a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required to facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Saudi Arabia and requires on-site presence to oversee project execution, collaborate with teams, and engage with stakeholders. The role demands a high level of adaptability to work in dynamic environments, including field operations and remote sites as needed. Candidates should be prepared to travel domestically and internationally to support project requirements and attend critical meetings.
