Systems Operator – Ensure Seamless IT Operations for a Leading Hospitality Brand

Join our dynamic team as a **Systems Operator** at Marriott International, where your expertise in hardware, software, and telecommunications will be instrumental in maintaining the robust IT infrastructure that powers our global hospitality operations. In this full-time, on-site role at our Jeddah location, you will play a critical role in troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for our guests and associates worldwide.

As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems across a wide range of systems, including printers, scanners, and network peripherals. Your technical acumen will be essential in maintaining and upgrading our hardware and software infrastructure, ensuring that our digital platforms—from internal systems to guest-facing technologies—operate at peak efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely solutions, enhance system reliability, and support the seamless execution of our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues across a variety of systems, including printers, scanners, and network equipment. Activate controls and integrate hardware to ensure optimal functionality and connectivity.
• System Maintenance and Upgrades: Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals and website technical architecture, to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Vendor and Technical Coordination: Escalate major hardware or software issues to vendors or specialized technicians for resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Emergency Response and Safety Compliance: Adhere to property-specific emergency protocols, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. Report workplace accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to management and safety personnel.
• Collaboration and Communication: Engage with colleagues across departments to exchange critical information, leveraging electronic communication tools such as email and internal systems to facilitate seamless workflows.
• Physical and Operational Excellence: Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and visually inspecting equipment to identify defects or areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
• Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Execute additional duties as requested by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
