Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management and Optimization: Oversee the design, administration, and performance tuning of enterprise databases to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal query execution. Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data.
• SQL and Database Development: Develop, refine, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to enhance system performance and efficiency. Leverage your expertise in database architecture to support data migration, integration, and governance initiatives.
• Automation and Scripting: Automate database operations and reporting workflows using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting tools to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention. Implement scalable solutions that improve operational agility and reduce downtime.
• Business Intelligence and Reporting: Design and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions using tools like Power BI or SSRS. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven insights, empowering informed decision-making.
• Data Integration and ETL: Facilitate seamless integration between databases and enterprise information systems. Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data consistency and accessibility across platforms.
• Security and Compliance: Enforce stringent database security protocols, access controls, and compliance standards to protect sensitive information. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business and technical teams to align database solutions with organizational goals. Act as a trusted advisor, translating technical complexities into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders.
