Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate reporting requirements. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support executive decision-making.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Identify variances, recommend corrective actions, and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including local tax laws and corporate policies. Conduct periodic audits and reviews to validate the effectiveness of control systems.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability. Analyze financial trends, market conditions, and industry benchmarks to inform strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership, corporate finance teams, and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities. Facilitate clear and concise communication of financial information to support cross-functional decision-making.
• Technology and Innovation: Leverage advanced accounting software, ERP systems, and financial tools to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and improve reporting efficiency. Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CMA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role within the hospitality, finance, or corporate sector. Experience in a multinational or global organization is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial challenges. Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
